Homebirth can be a beautiful and intimate experience. In an effort to provide the safest experience possible we must determine if you are a homebirth candidate. Please read the details below and then answer the proceeding questions.
In a deliberate initiative to address the Black Maternal Health crisis in Georgia and rectify the unequal access to Black Midwives, Love 'N' Touch birthing services are exclusively available to Black Families in metro-Atlanta.
Our comprehensive homebirth services includes prenatal care, following a similar schedule as the Obstetrical model. Monthly visits are conducted until the 28th week, transitioning to bi-weekly visits until the 36th week. Subsequently, weekly visits continue until childbirth. From the 37th week onward, our team is officially on-call, ready to support and facilitate your homebirth experience.
The current rate for our homebirth services is $5,500. This includes the birthing team's coverage, prenatal care, the homebirth, the optional birthing pool, and three postpartum WellCheck visits. Please note that the homebirthing kit and any additional supplies will incur a separate cost.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that health insurance does not provide coverage for our services. Our homebirth services are cash pay investment. All fees are required to be paid in full by 37 weeks of pregnancy.
